Port security Eemshaven

Since the increase of piracy and the imports of the ISPS (International Ship and Port facility Security Code) port security is an increasingly important role. The ports are no longer accessible for public and the persons- and vehicle checks has became a continues process. The communication between the ships and the authorities should run smoothly and accurate.

As from 2012 MB&D provides trained security guards who followed the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) education and the Ship Security Officer (SSO) education according to the guidelines of ISPS. On top of that they have the ECABO certificate for port security guards. There is a lot demanded from our employees. That is why we provide security guards who have additional capacities like knowledge of the maritime world and technology, good communication skills in different languages and knowledge of port documents.
